Ultimate Blog Party 2012: Get Your Party ON!

Ultimate Blog Party 2012

If you haven't come across it yet, I would encourage you to take part in the biggest blog party of 2012 over at 5 Minutes for Mom!  They are hosting tons of giveaways and several ways to link up your blog--which is a great way to "meet" new bloggy friends : )
Yes, I like to make up words!
My husband makes fun of me for it... I tend to add an /ee/ to the end of many words!

If you are stopping by from the party....
Welcome!!

I am Kristina; a momma of two lovable kiddos-- 4 year old son and a 1 year old daughter, and a wifey to my hard-working, handsome, and loving hubby!

As I tell in my short little "About Me" section, I never imagined homeschooling!  Yet, that is the path I am currently traveling... and it is a wild ride!  I love being home with my kiddos-- teaching and playing with them; but I find I learn more about things I need to tweak-- in me!  I always thought I'd be a working girl-- the thought of staying at home with my (future) children never crossed my mind... let alone homeschool!  However, God had other plans for me!

I began college majoring in Education, but after being a "Sunday School" teacher at my church to 12 youngins... I quickly decided it was not for me!  I decided to major in Audiology and Speech Sciences instead; I still wanted to work with children... just not that many!  Although, not much can happen with that degree without a Master's, which I don't have.
And ironically, here I am today... homeschooling!!
Here I blog about our Five In a Row adventures and other random school-y activities we do!  Along my sidebar you can check out some of my "Popular Posts."

And every once in a while I will blog about mommy crafts, kiddo crafts, recipes... etc!  I find that blogging about other things beside our homeschooling journey keep me sane; and if you think about it, homeschooling is life; life is homeschooling-- everything it intertwined.   I love sharing what we do with you!  I hope you enjoy it all, as well!

Thank you for stopping bye!  I would love for you to stay in touch by joining me via GFC or signing up for email updates!

Enjoy the party!

  5. Hopping over for UBP. Your blog brings back fond memories of using FIAR with my son. Now, he's 19yo and a freshman at Texas A&M. Wow...time flies! When we did FIAR, his older sisters wanted to do all his activities even though they were several yrs older.

Stop by when you get a chance.
