A Tutu and a Christmas Tree

When I am not doing "school" with Tyler, running around cleaning the house like a mad woman I love to fill my time with crafts.

Thanks to Pinterest, I had "pinned" the Tutu tutorial and Christmas Tree Ribbon shirt a month or so ago, and finally got around to doing it. And just in time for Christmas!

I purchased all of my supplies at Hobby Lobby and I am pretty happy with how they both turned out-- not perfect, but not bad for a first-timer!

I found the tutorial for the Christmas Tree Shrirt at B.j brewing.  I used Jones Tones Fabric Glue for every piece.  Crossing my fingers that it all stays on what it is time to be washed!

And the tutu tutorial was from Plumtickled.  I used four colors of tulle-- lime green, white, plain pink, and a sparkly pink.  I cut my tulle give or take at 14 inches... I was cutting it by our Christmas tree, in the dark, so the only lights were from the tree!  Otherwise, I followed everything to the T!

I get a little "obsessed" with my crafts, so who knows Abby may end up with twenty more tutu's by the end of the month!
